2012 Wilma, October 21, 2018 By Anonymous (Riverside, RI)
I bought my Wilma in December 2012 (6 years ago). I ride twice a week all year round, including winter in snow and ice. I may have missed a week or two, sometimes. I'll estimate that I only did 50 weeks in a year. that's 100 charge cycles a year, more or less. In 6 years that's about 600 use and charge cycles. Even if my estimate is off by a whole year, that's about 500 cycles. I bought the light so I can have 8 hours on 570 lumens and sometimes oh high for a fast downhill. In the nice weather I'll go 100 to 150 miles on week end ride. About 60 miles on a Wednesday. In the cold I'll do maybe 90 to 100 miles on Saturday or Sunday and maybe only 40 - 30 on Wednesday or less. Below freezing I'll get about 7 hours run time. Below 20 it's even less, just like any other light would be. I always carry a small back up light with me. Only used it once when I used up the Wilma battery in the cold. With the Wilma on high, it's a little brighter than my car on low beams.
Wilma - A One Horse Race, September 22, 2017 By Anonymous (Steamboat Springs, CO)
So much light from from one little package. I've been running a Wilma for better part of 10 years. From 24 hour racing to Full DH night laps in the bike park, i have never been able to "outrun this light". I have also used it on multiple night ski missions. This is a solid package and very versatile for any nigh time "fun" ops.
Endurance cycling workhorse!, April 20, 2017 By Joe Birdsong (San Francisco, CA)
I bought a Wilma four years ago for mountain biking and ended up using it more for endurance road cycling. The Wilma has been 100% reliable in all weather conditions from sub-freezing/snow to rain and heat. I don't worry about it one bit. When lights are required for an organized ride the Wilma makes for a reliable option, plus it's fun to see the other riders' reactions when we're in a group and I turn her on. I use the Wilma for centuries, Death Rides, 200 milers, endurance cycle tours, and anytime I'm riding at night for viz and safety, especially in the city.
This light can be extremely bright, but to me the value is in the reliability and build quality. I rarely operate it at full power except when demonstrating it for friends. The craftsmanship is robust and I plan to have this light forever, until I spring for a Betty someday.
Here's a video from a tour showing the Wilma setup. I stow the battery pack in a Revelate top tube bag during tours and normal riding.

I rarely post these reviews. Maybe only the second one I've ever done. Totally changed my early morning commute! Can't believe how bright it is. Lights up the road and trails like it's daylight. Talk about seeing and being seen. I've always been concerned/scared of traffic on my commute. Not nearly so much now. I am much much more visible. A guy at a bus stop was shielding his eyes from my light this morning. I felt bad for him, but safe. Light is everything they say and then some. Very easy to use. Free iPhone app that controls light was icing on the cake. Paired quicker than any other app I've used and just easy to use. After this I'm going to buy the Neo helmet light for confined space/rope rescue work.
